Mark Harrison

Mark leads the Wednesday evening session.

Mark is a qualified Level 2 Pickleball Coach, certified by the IPTPA on 14th May 2024. 

The course included a theoretical and practical course, 50-question test on the (USPTA) rules, observed coaching lesson and a 230-shot skills test. Mark is qualified to coach beginner and intermediate players.

Mark founded Ponteland Pickleball c. Easter 2023. The club started at Tyneside Badminton Centre, then moved to Ponteland Middle School before settling at our current venue Ponteland Leisure Centre in September 2023. The club expanded to 3 nights per week at Easter 2024 to meet popular demand.

Michael Shield

Michael leads the Friday evening session.

Michael is a qualified Level 1 Pickleball Coach, certified by the IPTPA on 17th April 2024.

The course included a theoretical and practical course and 50-question test on the (USPTA) rules. Michael is qualified to coach beginner players.

Sue Harrison

Sue leads the Tuesday evening session.

​

Sue is a qualified Level 1 Pickleball Coach, certified by Pickleball England.
